Privacy
Public Sector Sales Academy ("PSSA", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This notice explains what information we collect when you use this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It is written to reflect the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
Who we are
PSSA is a professional training academy operating in Nigeria and delivering courses on public sector sales. PSSA works with B4B Partners on the delivery of its programmes. You can reach us using the contact details on our Contact page.
Information we collect
We only collect information you choose to give us, together with basic technical information created when you visit the site.
- Enquiry details. When you complete an enquiry, register interest in a course or event, ask about company training, or download the prospectus, we collect your name and email address, and, where you provide them, your organisation, telephone number, team size, role and the details of your enquiry.
- Course questions. If you use the question box on our course pages, the question you type is processed so an answer can be prepared from our published course and faculty information. Please do not include personal or confidential details in a question.
- Technical information. Our hosting and security providers process standard information such as your internet address, browser type and the pages you view, in order to keep the site available and secure.
We do not knowingly collect information from children, and we do not ask for special category information such as health or biometric data.
Why we use your information
- To answer your enquiry and send you the information you asked for, including the prospectus.
- To discuss course, event and company programme options with you, and to arrange enrolment.
- To keep records of enquiries, registrations and programme delivery.
- To improve our courses, our website and the information we publish.
- To send you occasional updates about courses and events, where you have agreed to receive them. You can withdraw that agreement at any time.
Our lawful bases are your consent (for marketing updates), the performance of a contract or steps taken at your request (responding to enquiries and delivering courses), our legitimate interests (running and improving the Academy) and compliance with legal obligations.
Sharing your information
We do not sell your information. We share it only with:
- our faculty and delivery partners, including B4B Partners, where this is needed to respond to you or deliver a programme;
- our learning platform, CohortCore, where you enrol on a course;
- service providers who host this website, store our data and send our emails, acting on our instructions;
- professional advisers, auditors or regulators, where we are required to do so.
Some of these providers operate outside Nigeria. Where information is transferred abroad, we take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected to a comparable standard.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to respond to you and for our business records, normally up to five years from your last contact with us, unless a longer period is required by law. Learner and certification records are kept for as long as we are required to evidence completion.
Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you may ask us to give you a copy of the information we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or transfer it to another organisation. You may also withdraw your consent to marketing updates at any time, and you may complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details on our Contact page. We will respond within the period required by law.
Security
We use access controls, encryption in transit and reputable service providers to protect your information. No system is completely secure, so we also ask you to keep any account details for our learning platform confidential.
Cookies
This website uses only the cookies and similar technologies needed to make the site work, keep it secure and understand how it is used. It does not use advertising cookies.
